Dear fellow gardeners,
We have made it through another hot summer!I hope we'll continue to get some rain. It's still a great time to plant, the earth is nice and moist.
We are well stocked with fertilizer and Ken , Cinda, Joe or myself will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Our custom blend 8-2-10 is good for all your shrubs and trees in your garden. We have an excellent 100% organic fertlizer available. Citrus and other tropical fruit need to be fertilized now too. Summer rains deplete the soil of vital nutrients.
It's time to plant your fall vegatables if you haven't already started. Our veggies are coming from Naples, it's always nice to buy local. Let us know what you're looking for and we'll do our best to get it in for you. Lots of herbs to choose from; our grower/supplier is Kitchen Gardens and they are true to their name.
Geraniums and other cool weather flowers are coming in, again let us know what you want we'll try to get it in.
If you use lawn insectcides nows the time to apply them.
And last but not least, we're busting at the seams with new pottery! Lots of colors and styles to choose from. Our next free garden class on container gardening is Nov. 21st. at 2:oo PM.
